Stock Show Parade

The Denver Stock Show Parade has been a tradition for generations in Colorado. It kicks off the National Western Stock Show which lasts for several weeks. The parade features a wide range of participants including cowboys on horses, pageant queens, 4H clubs and much more. 

I always start photographing at the staging area to get a backstage peak at the performers and animals that will participate in the parade. Once the parade starts I’m capturing the parade and the people watching it. I appreciate being able to photograph this fun event which occurs in the dead of winter.
